CULTURAL HERITAGE AS A
CATALYST OF CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Swedish Mobility, February 2020
Day 1 - Monday
The
last mobility of the project was held in Kramfors in the north of Sweden during
the 24th to the 27th of February 2020. On the first day, we welcomed our
partner schools to our school, Gudmundrå school. The student got to see a
typical Swedish school and got know each other better through icebreaking
activities. After that the students learned how to make "Swedish
fika" by baking Swedish cookies and pastries.
In the evening we had a midsummer celebration at school. Midsummer
celebrations are a Swedish tradition and everyone got to try a
typical buffet and we also had a midsummer bar where we danced to the
Swedish song "small frogs" around.
Day 2
- Tuseday
The second day we had a guided tour around the high coast heritage. The
guide Håkan Sjöberg guided us through several places in the high coast
that showed important remains of our heritage. We visited a paper factory
that makes paper from the Swedish forest, a church from the 13th-century,
a chocolate factory, Naturum in Skule and the high coast bridge.
Day 3 - Wednesday
On Wednesday we were outside all day. The students and teachers
had the chance to try different winter activities like ice skating,
cross-country skiing and ice fishing. These activities play a big part in
the Swedish culture and are very common in Sweden during the winter.
Day 4 - Thursday
On the
last day, the students worked in international teams and made a guided
tour of places to visit in the High Coast with help of the app actionbound.
They presented the tour in the afternoon. They also got to print a
goodie bag and fill it with Swedish chocolate.
The
mobility ended with a closing party at Prestige in Kramfors.
